Bit 2009 in figures
25 February 2009More than 150,000 people attended the 2009 edition of Bit, an international tourism trade fair featuring more than 5,000 exhibiting companies from 140 countries.
The results for the 2009 edition of Bit, the tourism trade fair held at Fiera Milano from 19 to 21 February 2009, are in line with those of the 2008 edition.
- A total of 153,800 people attended Bit 2009, 101,000 of which were professional operators
- 5,000 companies from 140 countries took part in the exhibition, with 9 new participating countries (Botswana, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Fiji, the Philippines, Georgia, Montenegro, Slovakia, Zimbabwe) and two prestigious returning countries (Kenya and Jordan)
- 52,800 members of the public attended
The next edition of Bit - Borsa Internazionale del Turismo is scheduled for February 2010 at the Rho-Pero fair complex in Milan.
