The Expopage.net website doubles visits

01 October 2008

An increasing number of visitors use the Internet to organise their visit to a trade fair. The Expopage.net website?s historic end to the year demonstrates this fact: in one year it has doubled visits and is launching the first social network in the trade fair business.

September 2008 ends with a historic finish for Expopage.net, the trade fair website and official online catalogue of Fiera Milano.
Visits to the website more than doubled compared to September 2007, with an increase of 136% in just one year, from 117,000 to more than 277,000 monthly visits.

More and more visitors therefore rely on the Internet, and particularly Expopage, to get information on trade fairs, look for companies within the sector and prepare for their trade fair visit.
Indeed, website visitors can not only find information on shows in Milan and browse the always up-to-date list of exhibitors, but also have useful services available for their visit and their company.
From catalogues in electronic format, which may be browsed on one’s own PC or palmtop, to creation of a personalised map with favourite stands. From market research to trade magazines.
From publication of news and advertisements to Commercial Information, which allows requests for online financial statements and chamber of commerce documents on companies.

The increase in visits is also partly due to the recent launch of Opportunity Network, the first social network for trade fairs where trade fair professionals and operators can publish and raise awareness of their own professional profile and find new career and business opportunities .

For those who frequently visit trade fairs or have an activity to promote, Expopage therefore offers itself as a daily work tool, to browse and above all “use” every day of the year.
And now that visits have doubled, the opportunities also double from 50,000 companies present on Expopage and its 330,000 registered users.
